The Marie Sandoz center is on the Chadron State College campus. We loaded up the bus and went on an adventure. The new exhibit at the Marie Sandoz center was all about her Clothes. Her dresses, her hats, her jewelry and even her swimsuit from 1935. Each exhibit also had a postcard she wrote when she was on a trip. Her life was an adventure!
In the education corner we found a pamphlet about Agate Fossil Beds National Monument near Harrison Nebraska. I would like to go there, but there are rattlesnakes, so maybe I don’t want to go there.
The best part of our outing was dancing in the atrium while Quinn played the piano. Psss….don’t tell anyone we got locked in jail!
